(8897) Defelice = 1995 SX. Discovered 1995 September 22 at the Santa Lucia Observatory at Stroncone. Named in memory of Aurelio De Felice (1915-1996), Italian sculptor known for going "against the flow" in his creations, which appear in museums around the world. (M 34628)
